Planning a route, searching an address and the weather panel use trusted online map and weather services (OpenStreetMap-based maps, routing and geocoding, Open-Meteo weather), which receive only the locations needed to answer — the same way any navigation app works. Nothing identifies you to them through KeepClear.

How your data is used

KeepClear helps you avoid your restricted areas. It is an assistance tool, not a tracking tool — it does not report your location to anyone. In this demo your zones, places and settings are stored only on your device; in the full version they are encrypted and visible only to you and your supervising officer, under a data-sharing agreement with HMPPS.

Privacy notice

We process the minimum data needed to help you comply with your conditions. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. We never sell data or use it for advertising. A full Data Protection Impact Assessment covers this service.

Accessibility

KeepClear aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. You can raise contrast and switch units in Settings, and journeys can be read aloud. If anything is hard to use, tell your officer or contact support and we will fix it.

Complaints & contact

If something feels wrong or unfair, you can raise it without penalty. Speak to your probation officer, or use the Support tab to find the right help. Using this app is meant to help you, not catch you out.
